P. E. at Rosmini

Every week we go to Rosmini for a P.E lesson taken by year 12-13 boys. This is a highlight that the children really look forward to. It is great to see our students interacting with the older students. It has benefits for both schools. Our children have an opportunity to work in small intensive groups to work on developing their skill levels over a variety of activities. The Rosmini boys work on their organisation, communication and sports teaching skills. We have found that this is really worthwhile community building project.
ENJOY!!!

Science in Room 7 and 8

What an exciting week ahead. The children spent 2 blocks investigating various science concepts including static electricity to surface tension.
Over the next few days the children will be heading off around the middle syndicate to explore more science concepts. Many of these activities can be done in the home so let the kids become the scientists!!!!!!

Happy Holidays from Miss Iskandar and Mrs Eichmann

Well we have made it to the end of the first term. The children have adjusted well to the blended classes and we are now beginning to see friendships between the year groups.
Next term our main topic is movement. Week 1 is science week and the children will be spending the morning in their own room but will move between the four syndicate teachers for the rest of the week. Each teacher is doing different science experiments. Our aim is for children to experience science in various forms and hopefully spark interest for them in this area of learning.
Friday is St Joseph's Feast Day so we will be having mass at 9:15 which you are all invited to attend. At 11:00 we will have school wide tabloids finishing with a shared lunch.

We hope that you all have a safe, happy and Holy Easter. Keep up the reading and basic facts.

Great to see so much red and black supporting Christchurch!!! We have raised $980!!!

If you think cleaning a bedroom is difficult, try cleaning 60 desks!!!
